Turkey and Bow-Tie Pasta

Ingredients

cup plus 1 tablespoon flour
|

cups skim milk
|
|

cup dry white wine
|
|

teaspoon Italian seasoning
|
|

Black pepper

pound turkey kielbasa or smoked turkey sausage, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices

package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained

ounces bow-tie pasta, cooked according to package directions and drained

teaspoon poppy seeds

1. Over medium heat, in medium saucepan, combine flour and milk. Add wine, Italian seasoning and black pepper, stirring until smooth. Cook mixture over medium heat until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly. Fold in turkey kielbasa, vegetables and pasta; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 5 to 8 minutes or until heated throughout.

2. To serve, top pasta mixture with poppy seeds.
