Honey-Glazed Carrots and Parsnips Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
1/2
pound carrots, thinly sliced
1/2
pound parsnips, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4
cup chopped fresh parsley
2
tablespoons honey
Additional fresh parsley (optional)
1. Steam carrots and parsnips over simmering water in large saucepan 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Rinse under cold running water; drain. Combine carrots, parsnips, parsley and honey in same saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat just until heated through. Garnish with additional parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
